The creation of the Mother and Child Hospital is being conducted in close collaboration with Afghan health authorities because it will be part of their Public Health Program, which will focus on both the construction of medical facilities and the training of health-care professionals.This 300-bed facility will enable doctors to treat their patients with the best medical care. In order for the reconstruction efforts to succeed promptly, training sessions will be set up to improve the qualification and specialization of the indispensable medical and paramedical staff.The cost of the project is estimated at US$ 11 millions and will be entirely financed by the generosity of the international community. The Afghan authorities have graciously offered Enfants Afghans a hectare of land for the construction of the hospital on the site of the Ali Abad medical school and hospital complex in Kabul.

People start dying from the time of injury. Where surgical hospitals were at least 5 hours far (Neighboring country) half of the injured will die on the way. We have to do something. What was our obligation in this critic condition: Islamic humanitarian duty (the real meaning of Jihad) in one side the people of the own country and the moral obligation to the side with the poor and oppressed too. What might we did and what must we do? Therefore we started to save the life and run shoulder to shoulder of Mujahidden under the sever bombing and shooting under open sky and under the bridge at the front line of war just to save oppressed and those who didn't knew their crime and with those who wanted to save the country from invasion.

Since its inauguration in August 1989 the Chak-e Wardak Hospital has grown into a fully equipped 60-bed hospital (40 beds for women, 20 for men). It is the only hospital in the province of Wardak, providing basic health care to a rural population of over 400,000 people. The hospital is counted among Afghanistan´s five best hospitals. It remained open during the war against terrorism and did not suffer any damage. The hospital has greatly benefitted from the fact that Chak valley always was, and still is, a quiet and peaceful area.

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) began working in Afghanistan in 1973 with a six-year program to strengthen the Afghanistan Ministry of Public Health and promote the use of village health workers.
