Ariana International Travel Consultant Inc got the approval to sell online from Ariana Afghan Airlines in August, 2003, a contract has been signed between both parties to promote Ariana Afghan Airlines sales on the internet.

Kam Air is the first private airline in Afghanistan’s history. We started our operation on 31st August 2003 right after establishment of new private investment laws. We obtained our Private Investment License (PIL) no. 4992 on the early 2003 with AOC Air Operator Certificate no.001 from Afghanistan’s Civil Aviation Department. Our mission, as directed by Kam Air’s owner and founder Mr. Z. M. Kamgar, is to provide safe and reliable air transport for all Passenger and Cargo operations. Pamir Airways was inaugurated in May 1995 and is the first private airline in the history of Afghanistan to receive the AOC from the Afghanistan Ministry of Civil Aviation. The company's fleet started with one Boeing 707-320 and two AN-12 aircrafts. Since, Pamir Airways has purchased two additional AN-24 passenger aircrafts with a vision to increase expansion in the near future.
