Farzam Construction Company (F.C.C.) has started its activities under the name of Sayeed Architectural & Engineering Project Co .Ltd, which was established in 1996 with a capital of US $ 100,000. The main activities under Sayeed Architectural & Engineering were architectural designs and consultation in regards to engineering activities.

In 2004 the Company name was changed to Farzam Construction Company (F.C.C) and registered itself under the name of Farzam Construction Company (FCC). Since then, the Company tried to expand its activities in Design and constructions of buildings, roads, bridges, schools, power station, University, irrigation systems and Afghan National Police Regional Logistic Centers.

With the new name and expansion of scope of work the company had to increase the number of professional staff and to the possible extend engage itself in different large scale construction activities. By increasing the capacity of the company, now the company has the ability of handling large scale projects, which costs millions of Dollars. Now the company has the ability to work all over the country.

established 17 years ago as an Engineering and Construction firm by Mohammad Jan Alkozay as president and Ahmad Khan Alkozay as vice president and was registered with Afghan government, the company was working as an Afghan government contractor in Design, Consultancy and Construction of governmental projects, later on the company got registered with other donors like WFP, UNOPS, CARE International, LPG, IOM etc and was performing road and building and utility design-built projects. After year 2001 PBACC as national company felt the need for reforms to have the sufficiency of the new construction and engineering and to fulfill the requirement of the standards suggested by our national and international clients, the company brought deep changes and reforms in its Managing and working procedures, using new and modern machinery, new design and application standard and codes new project management procedures and finally new personal with modern education and experience both Afghan and foreign. Now the company is equipped with modern machinery and a strong technical board and administrative staff. The company both in unaccompanied a joint venture contracts has projects from AED in Gardiz, Kandahar and Herat and many other projects from other donors the biggest and mentionable project is the Heart University complex which is a design built project from Afghan government and the total budget exceeds $ 75 Million and we have won the same contract for Kandahar University Complex which is not started yet. The designs for all our projects are carried out by our design teams.
